Shawnee Golf Course

(502) 776-9389 Shawnee website Home of First Tee - Louisville and boasts a great facility for youth golf. Shawnee is an outstanding 18 hole golf course with 5 sets of tees to challenge players of all skill levels. Shawnee has a large practice area and the Justin Thomas Foundation Youth Course (a three-hole par 3 course reserved for youths), and a new 9,000 sq. ft. practice green with a 1500 sq. ft. bunker. This facility is reserved for the Participants in The First Tee during sessions.

Seneca Golf Course

(502) 458-9298 Seneca website Rated the sixth-toughest course in Kentucky and voted “Best of Louisville” for several years running. This hilly course rolls through beautiful Seneca Park, with Beargrass Creek winding its way among the numerous trees and fairways that are being converted from rye to zoysia grass. Seneca has hosted numerous national events. Gary Player, with the most titles of any golfer, won his first American tournament here (1958 Derby City Open). This is one of the most heavily-used courses in the city. Seneca boasts a fantastic chipping green and driving range. First Tee - Louisville Seneca Youth Golf Course is now being constructed at Seneca Golf Course and will be completed in the next couple of months. Bobby Nichols Golf Course

(502) 937-9051 Bobby Nichols website This beautiful 9-hole course is named for Louisvillian and PGA professional Bobby Nichols. It has rolling terrain with tree-lined fairways and large, bunkered greens. The course tests your proficiency with irons and rewards a straight tee shot (as Nichols Creek is in play on eight holes).

Long Run Golf Course

(502) 239-2110 Long Run website Let the open, flat, average-distanced front nine serve as your warm-up for this fantastic course.  Once you make the turn to the back nine, you'll be ready for the tighter, tree-lined, hilly terrain.  This course is fun and challenging as shot selection is important on the two double dogleg par fives.  The adjacent Long Run Park has a fishing lake, playground, tennis courts and horseback riding trails so that the whole family can have fun.  After having a great day on the course enjoy a cold beverage on the front porch under an umbrella and watch other groups putt out on the #9 green!!

Quail Chase Golf Club

Built in a nature setting with many tree lined fairways, water hazards, bentgrass greens, a full service Pro Shop. PGA and LPGA staff members. Full practice facilities.

Sun Valley

(502) 937-9228 Sun Valley website This par 71 has men’s and women’s leagues, tournaments, club memberships, handicapped service, and weekly games. Let the smooth, open front nine serve as a great warm-up for the tremendously risky and rewarding back nine. The front has small, flat greens while the back has larger, undulating greens nestled around white sand bunkers. Water comes into play on several back nine holes. This course will provide golfers of all levels with a wonderful challenge.

Meade Activity Center

(270) 422-2227 Meade Activity Center website The Meade Activity Center has a  9-hole golf course and practice facility. The course offers 4 different sets of tees to challenge any golfer and plays 6240 yards from the back tees. In addition to the course itself, River Trace Golf includes a putting/chipping green as well as a multi-level driving range. The facility features bermuda grass tee boxes and fairways along with bent grass greens.
